The first grade at Sarah's school last school year did a play called "The Gingerbread Kid Caper". It was cute. Poor Sarah was not feeling well, but went just for the play.
Fast forward to second grade, at a different school, but in the same district.
In November her class started learning songs for a play called, "The Gingerbread Kid Caper". She raised her hand & told her teacher she'd learned all those songs last year. Her teacher told her that she'd be all the better for this year.
In Sarah's first grade class they read "Flat Stanley" then sent out Flat Stanleys to friends around the country & world. Sarah's Stanley went to several states & even to Germany. Her's was the last one to come back because Stanley had gotten lost for a while in Germany.
Fast forward to second grade. They read "Flat Stanley" & started making their own Flat Stanleys. Sarah made hers a girl this year. She took last year's Stanley to show & tell. Her teacher just laughed.
I hope these are the only repeats of the year!

I remember her Flat Stanley. So are you going to call this year's a Flat Stacey? Stacey might not get to go to as many exciting places, though.
