Fall Break

We went to St. George for Fall Break.  We were planning to see Aladdin at Tuacahn but it got rained out.  So sad!  We did get to do some other fun things though.
We saw the St. George Temple

We saw a red phone booth, minus a phone!

We saw Brigham Young's winter home.

We ate some yummy treats.

We had to take a picture of a palm tree in Utah.

We stopped at Cove Fort on our way home.

Mitchell was not real cooperative at Cove Fort, but what else is new?!

Sarah is 11!

Sarah & her friend Mary Jane decorated for her "Purple Party".

Sarah LOVES mint brownies.  I made a special request at the bakery and was able to get the mint frosted purple instead of green.

Sarah's real birthday.

This cake was yummy!  A chocolate cake with mint frosting (seeing a theme here?).

We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and Sarah got to sit in the saddle to be sung to.

School!

Mason starting 2nd grade.

Sarah starting 5th grade.

I braved Thanksgiving point with a friend.  It was crazy busy!

Mitchell started preschool on Tuesday & Thursday mornings.  He was a little nervous to start but has really liked it.

Emma was the last to start.  She goes to preschool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Snowbird

The last week of summer we spent at Snowbird.  The kids look forward to this week every summer since it's so fun.  The only sad part is that it means summer is over!

There is a church service for the guests.  The kids all looked so good dressed up.  Sarah was not thrilled to have to take a bunch of pictures.

Grandma did a treasure hunt for the kids around Snowbird.  Mitchell & Nonie lost interest in the hunt & took a break in the playground car.

We always do an activity day.  Here's Mitchell with grandpa on the chairlift to the Alpine Slide.  Mitchell is a little afraid of heights (probably the only thing he's afraid of!).

Sarah tried the mechanical bull.

Waiting for the tram.

The whole family on the top of Hidden Peak.  Amazingly we were all there & all looking at the camera.

Morgan & Sarah on the Peruvian chairlift.

Rock wall climbing.
Jen & Jimmy dazzled the kids with their balloon tying skills.

We take a picture of the kids every year on this log on our way to Cecret Lake.
These girls were good little hikers.

We always have to stop at this rock for the bravest to climb to the top.

Snack time at the lake.

Mason and Andora needed a chance to be on top of something.
Family photo in front of the Iron Blosam Lodge.

The end of a little nature walk.
Mining for pretty (very overpriced!) rocks.

The kids always want to use the "fancy" glasses.
Loading up to go home!  See you next year Snowbird!
