Easter

Our Easter fun started a week early making a "Bunny House" with Becky.  I found this jewel at Wal Mart, it's like a gingerbread house, only made out of a sugar cookie.  The kids loved it, Mason especially loved the frosting & probably ate half the blue tube.
Dying eggs on Saturday.  We did a dozen boiled ones then dyed all the raw ones in the fridge.  Now I get to use colored eggs for the next little while.  We only had one casualty, luckily it was a boiled one!  Emma was banished to her high chair because eggs, dye, & 17 month olds do not go well together.
Easter morning.  The kids found eggs that had fun toys inside, Emma's had Little People, Mason's had hot wheels, & Sarah's had Littlest Pet Shops.
With their baskets that had been taken apart already & put somewhat back together for the picture.  Sarah had colored all sorts of pictures to direct the Easter Bunny to their baskets.  She'd also left out carrots, which the bunny nibbled on.
Sarah had the same dress as her cousin Allie.
Mason looked very dashing.  You can't tell from the picture, but his sweater has some pink on it (as well as his hiding tie) that made him match both Emma & Sarah.
Emma looked so cute!
A group shot, yeah right.
The big egg hunt with all the cousins from my side.  Emma just grabbed an egg & thought that was enough.  She did LOVE the chocolates inside the eggs.  I had to clean them up quickly Monday morning because she was very interested in all the foil wrapped chocolates.  The little eggs fit so nicely in her little hand, that is until they melted, what a mess!
The cousins ended the day by playing play doh (go figure!).  They'd had a great time riding all the wheelie toys in the backyard.  We are going to miss this huge yard for family parties (we won't miss mowing it one bit!).

The kids looked great in their new Easter clothes. We all had a nice time at your place for the egg hunt and dinner. Thanks for doing it this year.

Aw, very cute. I'm amazed Emma had a flower in her hair for those pictures.
As far as that Easter bunny house goes . . . that was quite the lovely house, gross blue frosting and all.

Looks like fun.

You captured some adorable pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes. Mason does look very dashing! We had to threaten Sam with his life to smile for his Easter Sunday picture. I have yet to post those. You are so on the ball!
