My kids look forward to Christmas Eve almost as much as Christmas Day.
We start the day by opening Build-a-bears that they picked out a month or so ago then had to wrap up.
Then they moved on to their new pajamas while still in pajamas.
Next comes swimming. We've got an underwater camera and the kids have had a great time with it.
Finally we get together with Todd's family. Usually we do it at grandma & grandpa's house but this year we did it at ours. Todd was on call and we hoped he'd make it in time for some of the fun. He showed up around 9:30 after a very LONG day and most of his family was gone by then.
Part of the Christmas Eve activity is making houses out of rice krispies and melted chocolate.
Then there is the nativity.
Christmas Eve was super snowy. I was so happy to not be out driving in it but felt bad that our family had to.
Christmas morning the kids were ready to go at 7:00. They would have come down sooner but mom & dad said no!
The mess after all the opening.
Mason got a lego type Titanic model. It was a beast to put together but he loved it.
We went to my parents' house in the afternoon for more family time.
It was a great Christmas!
